I chose to photograph a figure study as my up for grabs 1 project because I wanted to test my previous knowledge and understanding in that particular genre of photography. There are so many cool things to photograph when it comes to the male or female form: and I think that through this project, I have been able to play around a bit with the genre as well as combining it with fine art photography.
I am quite happy with the outcome, and I hope that I will be able to combine figure study with other projects (school and personal) down the road!
I would like consider the images, "Flipped" and "Innocence" as images that could be used in my final portfolio: these are both images that are interesting and that I am intrigued by. I am considering submitting either of these images to the PPOC (Professional Photographers of Canada) competition come next semester.
